I feel like I was extremely spoiled by getting to see the gender specialist in Aberdeen after a six week wait, and he even came to the doctor's in Old Aberdeen. That was 2008, mind

When my GP doctor first referred me to an NHS gender clinic back in 2018, she said she had to call them up to confirm the wait time she was told—at that point, 40 months.

She told me she couldn’t quite believe it and it really shocked her.
