I don't build because it is easy.

I build because I thought it was easy when I started.
When you don't have an explicit design, it is not no-design.

There is only one way to reduce tech debt.

Identifying and explicitly trying to reduce the tech debt.

Rewrites almost always increase tech debt and miss original bugs.
Microservices extractions have the same tech debt with sprinkles of additional failure modes.

The only way to validate an idea is to actually ship and charge money for it.

Everything else is procrastination.

Can't believe how well this works.

When stuck on a hard problem.

Start writing down what I have tried, what I expected vs what I am seeing.

New insights to tackle the problem, every single time.

Remember, customers of your startup are not as "cheap" as you.

You can always charge more!

Wake me up when they are selling SaaS finisher kit.

Life is too hard.

Got a mechanical clicky keyboard today.

Can't listen to it because I also got noise cancelling headphones.

First rule of microservices.

Don't write a microservice.

Sure, my code runs flawlessly… until someone other than me actually uses it!

My coding process is quite simple actually.

Drink sh*t ton of coffee and despair, until stuff starts working.

Software project estimates 101:

Whatever your actual estimate is, multiply it by 1.5 and add 2 weeks for just in case. 😅
