This new study from Dr. Harkin’s group aimed to investigate mRNA expression of the kynurenine pathway (KP)enzymes in medicated patients with depression, and after ECT therapy. 🧬

Changes in expression of target KP enzymes correlated with changes in mood, w/ treatment response + remission. 📈
