The argument for loosening hybrid mana's identity in commander is that the intent of hybrid mana is to represent cards that could be printed mono coloured for either of its two colours and... I just do not see how this card could be justified as mono blue or mono black. This is an extremely UB card.

One thing that sucks about a lot of modern games is they're too big to replay often.
