I think they especially got boxed in by the mechanic of needing to be able to play the game even after the credits. The excuse given for this in hades 1 is very clever and fun, while in 2 it’s depressing and undermines Mel’s journey. Idk man.

I’m think they just really bit off more than they could chew writing wise. All SG games till now have been pretty small I terms of story scope and I think that’s worked really well for them. It’s been simple concepts that hone in on the protagonists journey. They just wanted to do so much

Criticizing Kamala for her stance on continuing to arm Israel rather than the administration failing with its campaign as the reason the dems lost and that trans people are being hurt now. I gave her a lot of benefit of the doubt before she came out with this statement given the rest of her history

I think it’s just part of her general shift away from being more radical and left leaning. She has a lot more personal assets to lose now, I guess, and decided to forgo her roots to (attempt to) maintain that. I think she seems to also genuinely believe that it’s the fault of ppl
