I know this will be unpopular among many but I’m fine with it. Hayes has parlayed his “regional cable journalism” schtick into a cult-like following. I’ve just never been a huge fan of his sarcastic style, though I’m sure he’s a fine fellow. #stlcards
Less Jim Hayes, more Alexa Datt likely on Cardinals telecasts next season: Media Views
A restructuring of the way FanDuel Sports Network conducts its pregame and postgame shows across most of its system nationally is driving the shakeup.

Seeing all these Winter Meetings social media posts from @katiejwoo.bsky.social anout “Dodgers this and Dodgers that…” (Tommy Edman even!) makes me sad like the #stlcards traded her to LA and got nothing but heartache in return.

I’d rather pilot a boat through the Caribbean than spend one second watching this trash that used to be culturally iconic viewing. Maybe again one day. #KennedyCenterHonors.

My first trip to Kenya in 2014, I stayed in a tent on the Savannah, but the tent had electricity (ok, glamping). Since the campground cut juice from 11p-sunrise, I had to get along with nasal spray and Breathe-Rite strips instead of my CPAP.

First world problems in a third world country.
Africa’s electricity conundrum is usually framed as a supply problem. But it is also a question of demand
Africa needs to generate more electricity
It also has to create more demand for it

In true tRump fashion, Whitehouse.gov has its own media “truth” website, which doesn’t mention NPR or PBS as “offenders” yet the organizations tiny percentage of government funding the outlets receive was stripped away. (See graphic in comments). Now, NPR is fighting back.

Boo, Katie’s leaving. Good for her, bad for #stlcards fans. I wouldn’t be surprised if the NYTimes decides not to cover a rebuild on a daily basis. Hope I’m wrong.

More than 3 weeks ago, we were wondering out loud about these attacks against “drug” boats. #Hegseth
What happens to the remains after FELOTUS blows up these alleged drug boats? Who if anyone, recovers the bodies? What happens to them? Is there any way to analyze the remains to see if indeed there were illegal drugs on board?
