Over the last 50 years, Nigel Farage has certainly been on a journey. He’s moved away from playground taunting and calling, and now simply hides his racism and xenophobia behind a gossamer thin veil of respectability.

Is anyone else watching “The Death of Bunny Monro” on Sky? It’s incredibly dark, and bleak, and sad… but a bloody awesome story, and performance by Matt Smith. Definitely recommend it +++

Another question… If Trump sues the BBC through a Florida Court, and the court finds in favour of Trump, what redress would there be if the BBC simply refused to pay up?
Through what court would Donald Trump be able to claim his $1bn from the BBC?

The top stories on the BBC News tonight are around whether Donald Trump is an insurrectionist, or a nonce.

It’s obviously biased reporting, because it’s quite clear that he’s both.

You know who I think would make an awesome 16th Doctor?

Emma Thompson. #DoctorWho

It’s quite obvious why President Paedo is going after the BBC and other free media outlets, he’s trying to bully them into silence about *everything*.

@mrjamesob.bsky.social Keir Starmer’s problem is that he is the first Prime Minister whose political views are considered something of a “private matter”.

Discussed this with my husband (Barrister) last evening. A UK court would not allow this to proceed.
There is no reputational damage as he has no reputation to damage. His many convictions and history of being a vexatious litigant weigh against him. He is an extortionist, not be countentanced.

When I’m in charge, home fireworks that make a noise will be banned outright. Absolutely no need.

One of the dogs needs an operation. Took him to the vets for a pre-op check. Even under general anaesthetic, the use of intravenous fluids is “optional” and comes at an extra cost… £80 for a bag of saline seems like daylight robbery.

Popped to that Mykonos in Greece today. It was very pretty.

When does the official start of Poppy Season begin? It seems a bit later than usual this year.

This was a great question, and I thought Starmer didn’t particularly object to the idea of having Andrew Windsor in front of a Select Committee 👀
We need to get to the bottom over Prince Andrew's use of Royal Lodge at taxpayers' expense. He should come before a parliamentary committee and answer questions.
October 22, 2025 at 12:07 PM
The recurring media line of “The Prince has always denied the allegations” wears a bit thin when you consider that he did everything in his power to avoid denying them when under oath, or in front of Senate committees.

The hesitancy of Ed Miliband this morning, and other politicians, to say what they think of Andrew Windsor’s situation was really weird.

I still have no idea what Number 10 was thinking intervening over policing. If they ‘win’ the standoff, Keir Starmer personally owns any incident that happens around the match. And he’s broken the precedent of interfering in operational matters, and so will be asked to do so relentlessly.
