These days I use Joycons, PDP Rematch wired, or Zen Pro. No problems there... but man, this era of $80 controllers that just SUCK! I hate it.

Unsure if the d pad is better on Switch 2 Pro controller, but I have NEVER used my own S1P controller. Once I knew the d-pad got regularly accidental diagonals, which means instant drop in some puzzle games... I was done. One of the single WORST d-pads I've ever used.

The first I can REMEMBER. The set with SMB, Duck Hunt, and Track Meet. I bet we didn't need Track Meet. Fun idea, but the floor mat didn't register very well. I think my dad had some kind of Atari console but I cant remember it. Cheers to Tengen Ms Pac-Man and Pac-Mania.

That's the response you went with, huh? Bitmap Books is on my "Never EVER" list. The original problem wasn't great, but "oh no, someone spoke flippantly online?!" isn't the biggest crime on Earth. This response is WORSE somehow! Don't harass, just don't buy their stuff. Easy.

Dear supporters of Bitmap Books,

Although I stand by the fact that Moses’ comments were ill-advised and insensitive, the whole thing blew up and was made much bigger than it needed to be. Moses has publicly apologised for any offence caused, as has the original poster of the comments who did not intend to cause this much trouble. I do not feel that this warrants an author losing his livelihood and ruining years of hard work to produce the book.

Despite multiple accusations to the contrary, Moses freely agreed to donate his royalties to charity. There was no coercion from me, however we both recognise that due to an increasingly stressful situation that decisions were rushed on both sides. I’m pleased to say that Moses and I have spoken again today, we stand together, and have agreed that he will receive 100% of his royalties.

Maybe I was hasty in my response, and I’m happy to admit to that. At the time I sincerely thought I was doing the right thing to diffuse an increasingly difficult situation. I will commit to donating all company profits from this first print run to the charity, Special Effect.

The bottom line is that is that Moses has apologised for his original comments, and will now be paid the royalties that are rightfully his.

Moses and myself have received a large amount of personal abuse and threats over the past few days. We hope that this statement will bring some closure to what has happened.

At this point the browsers that stay most out of my way are Waterfox and Safari... and I get those may not be on all platforms. :( I used to love Opera and Firefox for being minimalistic and only having features important for browsing the internet or checking email better... now they are both gross

if your standard sense of humor is the sort where you routinely heckle and roast your friends I need you to understand you can't just automatically do that to strangers on the internet and expect them to be chill about it. it really just comes off like you are being mean to someone for no reason.

Monolith Soft founded 26 years ago!

What started as a breakaway studio from Square Enix with ~40 employees has grown to ~300 employees under Nintendo.

They really left their mark on Switch with Xenoblade Chronicles 1/2/3/X and are currently developing an RPG for Switch 2.

I genuinely think Aladdin and Lion King are Disney's best of their best... and I'm not even really that big a fan of them. The older I get, the less I like the Genie, which is ironic, because I certainly understand more of the jokes/references NOW that I'm... an age that is a little above a number.

REALLY like Frieren: Beyond Journey's End. I like the characters and interactions against the backdrop of the ideas and themes of the show. THAT said, S1 drops off quick when it runs out of Frieren ideas and diverts back to "anime" ideas. SO Slept through most of the last 8 episodes.

and yes its still an 8GB GPU, BUT at that price, I dont feel that's entirely unreasonable. It's sometimes hard to get more than that in these price points, especially with Intel GPUs at an extreme shortage.
