Celebrate Cronyn Observatory's 85th Anniversary on Oct 25th! Join us for talks on the Observatory's history, explore artifacts, and observe through telescopes (weather permitting). 8-10pm, FREE admission!

Saturn reaches opposition this weekend (Sep 20-21) – the time when Earth passes directly between the Sun and Saturn, bringing this ringed giant closer to us and making it appear at its brightest. Join us for the public night!

Join us at Cronyn Observatory as astronomy meets chemistry. Charmi Bhatt, an astronomy PhD student, will take you on an astrochemistry adventure, exploring how astronomers become cosmic detectives who use nothing but starlight to decode the chemistry of distant galaxies and star-forming regions.
