A lot of human hair units are treated with various chemicals too, definitely better but not always. It’s sad. People left perms for braids because it was “healthier”

Chemicals found in the braiding hair have been linked to increased cancer risk & organ damage.. I literally chew on my braids when nervous or bored. I seal my braids in hot water. Sometimes burn them. Braids were supposed to be healthier than perms & other chemicals. Choose your hair carefully folxs
