Lately the idea of being a professional artist in the future has felt a lot more possible. I won an award recently for one of my paintings and it’s prompted me to want to put my work into local galleries and look into selling prints of my work. Still fairly unsure how to do those things.

Took a couple of weeks after the semester ended to just do nothing and forgot to post the current finished piece for my last digital painting assignment. I say current cause there’s a few things I wanna change just didn’t have time to do before turning it in.

Finally made some decent progress on this piece and just AH! I love art and I love when a piece starts to come together like this.

It’s frustrating finally being in a place where I’m able to make the art that I enjoy only to be told that it’s too dark and might get me institutionalized.

I wanted a kinda restart so I could start posting my art without fear of being perceived. Some of this I’m still working on and some of it’s done for now.
