Nearly 18 years ago we stood in the main square of #Randazzo, a medieval town on the slopes of #MountEtna, holding the keys to our new Sicilian home after signing the official final paperwork, our friends and family in the UK thought we we had gone mad, yesterday we returned for the first time 🏠🔑

The day after we left Sicily in June to return to London for summer Mount Etna decided to erupt in spectacular style

Etna’s summit today is clear of cloud, vapour and gas emissions and we can now see the extent of the collapsed crater which has changed the shape and look of the summit 🌋

I ALWAYS order a Margarita Pizza because I love the taste of Sicilian grown Tomatoes and Basil

Always ask for your pizza to be “taglio” when you order so that the pizzaiolo (pizza chef) will cut it into slices for you so that you do not have to saw through it !!!
