My phone seems to have learned the word, ‘christofascist’. It’s still mysteriously having trouble with ‘fuck’ though.

It’s clear what the Trump regime was afraid of in the Epstein Files. All the black. Nothing scares them more than black.

One of my favorite things that’s ever been on Netflix is Inside Job. It was funny, satirical, looked great, and it was something I hadn’t seen before. I thought it was good for 3 or 4 seasons. Like Glow, Netflix really left us hanging.

How has this past year distorted my sense of the construct of time further than the pandemic did?

It’s been an eternity.

It’s been an instant.

Is this what it’s like at the event horizon of a black hole?

Just a reminder to anybody who happens to care: the rest of the world essentially views the USA as being downgraded to something akin to a developing country.

You can hardly view the spots of wealth/technological advancement as representative of a land mass this large and generally impoverished.

I don’t know how this whole thing works. I don’t have any interest in just posting click bait-y shit. If you’re interested in a better world or collaborating on creative pursuits, hit me up.

You know we don’t have to do this for 3 more years.

People either a larger audience than me can get a petition together to get the country to sign on to a referendum on this entire government. There are various state, federal constitutional processes that are being in completely ignored.

America. You’re free…….

……..to pay a $1500 rent on a $1000 salary.

Is minimum wage slavery in disguise?

Well, we had to put it somewhere, right?

I mean can you IMAGINE a world without slavery?

What would that even look like?

Toward whom are you supposed to feel superior?

Whooowee. 15 minutes of this shit is 10 too many today.

BTW: anybody know of a better social media spot than blue sky?

There’s a lot of useless garbage on here. I want to save democracy, not the Democratic/Republican false dichotomy.

So many people have been successfully gaslit into thinking that we actually that we can’t demand better. This is why people voted for Trump. He called out the bullshit and then lied that he would fix it while a the same time telling everyone exactly how he was going to make it worse. Meanwhile:

I’ve heard it said that “no man is an island”.

I would like to point out that, in a way, no land is an island.

Not forever.

We are intriate. We are all connected, not just by the planet and its shifting land mass but by existing in this universe.

Patriotism/nationalism/racism fail their beheld.

You ever get the sense that a lot of the solutions on the left are self-defeating?

Sue the administration—>the Supreme Court won’t let that amount to anything.

Fundraising—-> working class people can’t afford donations to outmatch the capitalist incumbency.

It’s like dowsing fire with sawdust.

It is helpful to humanity to understand costs outside of one’s own when considering an opportunity, and to measure the benefits up against them as the benefits are often meager and shallow while the costs may be profound.

I was just thinking about ICE and complicity in its many forms.

At least some are doing it right
Almost 1.2 million EU citizens have signed onto the My Choice My Choice resolution, which the European Parliament will vote on next week, to help fund abortions in the EU. Croatia alone gathered 65,000 signatures, 780% more than the national threshold set for each country.

I’m not excusing anyone, but I think we can’t ignore people’s natural disgust reflex. It’s always going to be a combination of instinct and learned perception. Expecting everyone to just outgrow it is unrealistic.

Disgust at the disgust response of others must also be overcome for peace.
