I was in ROTC in high school, and I agree with you. I saw a vet say “once you learn to march, it’s ingrained in you, and you have to work to get it this wrong”.

I am not a vet, and I know how to march, from my experience in HIGH SCHOOL.

•the election was stolen
•there was absolute tampering in the process
•the “perade” was a RAGING flop

I did read them. I read them when I was 13.

They upset me because I was a particularly sensitive child, but I’m glad I read them because I still have the messages within them inside me.

And I wish everyone had had to read these books, instead of just the “advanced” kids. Everyone.

Only the “GT” or “Pre-AP” kids had to read Fahrenheit 451, Animal Farm, 1984, Lord of the Flies, etc when I was a kid.

Which is why the smart kids grew up to be smart adults who recognize fascism when it calls itself MAGA and wraps itself in an American flag.
