Last year at Tippett Studio, I had the privilege of sitting in on a few dailies while helping out on Alien: Romulus. As a 3D Animator being a part of a stop-mo project, even briefly, was incredibly memorable. I truly enjoyed being a fly on the wall and soaking in the amazing experience!

Just finished "Bury Our Bones in the Midnight Soil" by V. E. Schwab (started December 31) and I liked it.

I loved this book. The characters were likeable were and the conflict between them didn't hinge on a misunderstanding and judgement held against the other. They were both respectful and loving even if that wasn't communicated right away. The romance was good too.

What I liked and disliked about the first book remains the same. I enjoy the author's writing but I wish the focus would be to the friends and less on that problematic Finn.

I understand the explanation of the wormhole but at the same time I find its inclusion completely superfluous. Why overly complicate something that is already quite out there? And the fact its addition literally adds nothing. #StrangerThings

I have a great distaste for the use of pregnancy in science fiction and horror, either as just imagery or using the actual gestation as a plot device. I find it is in works by male writers that focus on the fetishization of the female body in this way ...

I am not far in but one thing that I am really liking with From the Ashes is how they contrast with /call back to the visuals from the Main story. #AvatarFrontiersOfPandora

I only got into Marvel during Covid, watching all the movies due to the abundance of time. But I really am all-in with what Marvel is doing in their Disney Plus shows, really interesting story & character exploration.
That Doomsday trailer is exactly why I never got into Marvel in the first place.
