Re 20mph, no one enforces it. It used to be around schools etc which is great. However that argument falls down when in Bloxham in Oxfordshire. The 20mph is all the way thru the village, yet when the road goes passed the school, it goes to 30mph.

Pair of #YellowWagtails #Cornbunting #CommonWhitethroat #Linnet on morning walk this morning. The pair of wagtails was a fluke as i only saw the 1, but after taking shot, saw the both. Feeding young, as were back and forth from 1 field to the next constantly.

Anyone else notice the destruction of trees & hedgerow just above the A34 near Abingdon? Must be a stretch of 200mtrs or more. Is this not illegal to cut trees down & destroy hedgerows in the spring during nesting season? @rspb.bsky.social
