This week we treated ourselves with some vegan ham and cheese brioche croissants and coffee. 😍

They're so delicious! We also got some plain ones to bring back home (to have with our homemade ham 🤭).

Fresh out of DaVinci Resolve (video editing tool)! 🤭

It's a very quick and easy recipe. Replicable for other fruit as well.

We have it on bread, on crackers, on toast, in yogurt...

Do you have make jam out of your surplus fruit?

That looks great! Shepherd's pie is really a good example of comfort food! I'm looking forward to the colder weather for that. This week we're still gonna hit 30 degrees 😭
Here it is one of the ham recipes I've been making lately! 🫘

I totally recommend making your own ham at home. It's cheaper, it's more versatile, and it's delicious!

I hope you try it too! 😉

I've been trying some flan recipes.

Soon I'll be sharing the final one, because this one was so close in taste! Hehe 🤤

"But where does he get his protein, though?" 🤭
It is! He's one that I always recommend to people!
The vegan ham I made a couple of days ago.

A variation inspired by Watson's (Thee Burger Dude) recipe.

I've been making them lately (first it was his recipe and after with variants) and it's safe to say I won't be buying any store ham again 🤭

Next I'll try with olives! 🫒 🤩

Thanks! It's less work hehe and I can make bigger portions! 😍
Here in Portugal too! We have been buying bigger amounts of long shelf life things when they are on sale. Things that we know are the regulars in our house.
Lazy sushi made in a rectangular container.
Got enough for two meals and it was even tastier on the following day!

If I'm not mistaken it was layered like this: nori, rice, mayo, nori, avocado, lettuce, mayo, rice, avocado, lettuce, nori. 🤭

Very quick and simple recipe — and video 🤭

It's tasty, has a good texture, and is very versatile! I use it for tuna salad, tuna pasta, tuna sandwiches, tuna spread, and whatever other things I can think of. The sky is the limit! 🤣

Oh we found it first at an Asian supermarket. If you have one nearby, try to find it and try like that maybe. It’s a safer way to see if you like it or not, rather than making a whole batch. Despite the quick, easy steps, it takes a while. Like, leaving the beans fermenting for at least 18hours.
"But I am a hater, which is a kind of integrity. It means I am willing to disagree with anyone, even if it is rude. “But I only use it to–” “Actually if you just—” “The new models–” “I was making fun–” Stop. You’re embarrassing yourself. I am embarrassed for you."

Really well written.
I considered writing a long carefully constructed argument laying out the harms and limitations of AI, but instead I wrote about being a hater. Only humans can be haters.

I am an AI hater. This is considered rude, but I do not care, because I am a hater.

First attempt at making nattō and it was a success!

It was with a nattō starter sachet, but next time I'll try with some already made nattō.

I love it! @hejchristian.com is still unsure, ahah! My little nephew loved it too!

Have you ever tried it?

Here they are expensive too (although possibly not as expensive as in Japan). Last time we went to the supermarket it was around 10 euros per kilo. So we are really happy to have these trees! 🤭
Oh fig jam is great! We share with our neighbours too! And they give us avocados from their tree hehe
Oh I'm allergic to wasps! And here where I'm at they have been killing lots of bees unfortunately.

And don't worry, not all figs have wasp eggs inside 😉
This one is Pingo-de-Mel (Drop of Honey).

It grows really well here in Portugal. I brought some branches from my grandparents' tree in the north, and the two we tried to plant grew really well! We gave the rest to family and friends.

But yeah, fig trees attract a lot of wasps 😩
Luxury is having my favourite fruit in season and all I have to do to have some is go outside to pick some 🤭

I have this type and the big purple ones. 🤤

After over a month I was able to publish another video.

There are more to come soon, but I have been struggling a lot with these heat waves. 🥵

Anyway, here is my homemade mayo recipe. A success around here 😏

Yes, we are. It's been crazy here in Portugal and Spain. 😰 Lots of fires and big ones. But since the land around us was cleared, we might be OK even if it comes here. There won't be much to burn. 😉
Opened bluesky and just saw bad news (so many bad things happening in the world right now 😔) and was sharing a few with my partner.

In the end he was like "now it's time to see some bee butts!"

Which I promptly did.
