I had eye-opening experiences when I took college classes in my 50s. Went to a few student government meetings out of curiosity, and was alarmed by the self-important pomp and circumstance. I kept thinking those cosplayers were going to wind up in government. I think about that a LOT now. lol.

It's simple for me. If you don't identify yourself or show a warrant, you could be anybody, and I'll respond accordingly. Your gear makes no difference to me if you can't establish your authority (which shouldn't be hard to do).

I can't say it enough, but I feel like I have to for the mouth-breathers. "Staring down at" is not the same as "staring down". Especially not when you're staring down at people from a distance from the safety of a rooftop surrounded by soldiers. ICE Cosplay Barbie strikes out again.

They don't call you an outlaw if you're all about conformity and compliance. Those guys were old-school antifa, because they loved their country but were wary of its leaders. Nelson, Kristofferson, and Cash all served in the military. All those guys had a deep, abiding love of American democracy.

Extortion is literally the only play in his playbook. Other countries have repeatedly shown us the best and most effective way to beat Trump is to just say "No. We're not going to do that." He has nothing else. He'll offer up a counter offer. And when that fails he'll retreat. Don't give in.

I can confirm. Had a Trump-loving relative proudly tell me she'd stopped buying Tylenol, and was buying a generic brand acetaminophen ("it's cheaper anyway"). I decided to wait and see if she figures it out on her own.
