(Battledroids) Hunter light tank lance completed.

These will be joining the previous Patton lance in my growing armoured company.

I stepped out of my comfort zone with this. My uncle drives a Sprite, and he had a 1:76 scale diecast model in red, but his car is white.
So upgraded the interior and repainted the car. I removed the plinth and replaced it with the road and a label.

Patton tank lance completed.

Clearing my pile of shame. It interests me how painting styles evolve. Those on the left painted about 5 years ago.

In games, my excuse is paint dulled over time in service vs. new reenforcements.

Currently at half strength with the Cicada CDA-2A. There will be a Hussar HSR-300-D and a Quickdraw QKD-4H to follow.

The Vultures are a pursuit lance intended for hunting damage and fleeing opponents. In the face of even the lightest resistance, they disengage.

I have revisted my mercenarys, Francis Urquhart's Battalion Armoured Renegades.

The second lance 'Vultures' (or The Lame Ducks as the rest of the unit call them) has a Charger CRG-1A1 to lead it.

I might take a month on and off to paint a miniature. I don't have the luxury to sit down for 8-12 hours and paint a mini. Apart from anything else, my back won't take it.

Our pet hole (C. huahini 'Asian Fawn') made a brief appearance this morning.

@desirablecalamity.bsky.social managed to grab a quick picture of her before she vanished again. To give you an idea of her size, that's a six inch long fox skull she's perched on.

We use "holp" all the time at home. Usually, in the context of somebody trying to assist someone else, but actually making things more difficult.

E.g.
Me:"I'm trying to help!".
Wife: Well, you're holping, just go and sit down".

I have since added the teal spot colour and started building up the whites.

So this is where I am at the moment.

I need to finish the whites and add a few splashes of red. Then I'll be basing all the weapons and metallics in black.

I forgot the day 4 update after panel lining. I skipped the edge highlights until all the black is laid down because cockups will occur.
