6-week-old brown eastern cottontail bunny on her hind legs with a bright white blaze marking on her forehead that looks like a heart. Pixie was a fun little bun back in 2020. Photo taken 6.22.2020. Her mama was Butterscotch so I named all her special babies candies. One of them was Snickers, my all-time favorite bunny until her daughter Peanut came along. Need a dose of calm and oxytocin? Watch lots of sweet baby bunnies peacefully nibbling in natural surroundings in the YT playlist I made special for Bluesky in the comments. The first video is purposefully short since YT usually doesn't count the first view from Bluesky. The rest are 20+ min and an hour so there should be less ads. You can see her her nibbling, grooming, and learning how her body works in the playlist in comments. She loved to make wishes, binky, zoom, and sometimes even gave me kisses! Her list now includes an hour-long movie that shows her grow from a tiny kit to a strong and nimble junior bunny. In just 3 weeks! Longer movies tend to have less ads. 2+ year-old male brown eastern cottontail bunny standing in green foliage. Eggplant is a special bun. He's the most docile male I've ever seen and the ladies love him for it. He's also the 1st male to ever overwinter in our yard. He was here all last autumn and winter & I've seen him enough recently to believe he will be again. He left our yard to mate elsewhere this spring and summer, but came back a month ago (right after Topaz...I think he followed her home!) b/c he knows there's lots of food and shelter here. He's getting fluffy! He's a fun winter bun so I'm thrilled to have him back with us. You can see him in action, mating and courting our does, in the cute couples playlist in comments. Just over 2-year-old brown eastern cottontail sitting up surrounded by green buttercup foliage and golden fallen leaves. Butters is a special bun who got injured when she was young and now her face is scarred, making her very easy to recognize. We call her "brave little Butters" because she usually isn't. Ha! She'll come up to me, but then run away and hide. She gets spooked by tiny baby bunnies. But, she is brave when it comes to healing and surviving. She's our sweet, anxious, and funny bunny who benefits greatly from having our yard as her sanctuary. And we love her dearly. You can see why in her playlist in comments. Thanks for watching!

Little Agate got her ear torn when she was about 6-weeks-old so I started taking loads of photos of her to monitor her ear’s healing. She turned into a little ham for the cam and we had a lot of fun together. She had babies here last spring (2024), but then moved across the street to a farm where she could be queen because her sister Ruby became queen here. You can see many more portraits and Agate in action in the YT playlist in comments. I took ~1000 photos of her in just the 1 year she was with us!
