The behavior of the Supreme Court must make the teaching of law nearly useless, as they have become the enforcement arm of the GOP. This court is no longer guided by Precedent, but masks partisan decisions under the cloak of "originalism."

Some people said renaming the Defense Department the Department of War is actually more honest. In that vein, the "Justice Department" should be named the Department of Law. In this administration, there's plenty of "Law," but not a lot of "Justice."

I think this may be why we're seeing a lot of "lone wolf" shootings from people who are loosely affiliated with MAGA. Trump has been in office for 9 months now, and things are getting worse, not better, and this may be the way they're channeling their disappointment alienation and rage.

Late night hosts work best when they are a bit edgy. Jimmy Fallon never had one. I've always found him painful to watch, even during his SNL days. He annoys me so much I even fast forward his cameo on Band of Brothers.

Maybe I'm too hopeful on this, but I'm not sure gerrymandering itself is going to work for the GOP next year like they hope. By then, the full impact of their disastrous policies will be impossible to ignore, and Epstein will not be forgotten.

This government thinks it's the 19th century and we're Great Britain, dictating to the world what they should do. Things have changed a bit in the last couple of centuries whether they want to believe it or not. This lack of respect for other sovereign countries is incredibly short-sighted.

The entire subtext of every Never Trumper (but always a republican) podcast, interview, etc. is "the democrats should be more like the GOP." If someone states their political philosophy is fundamentally flawed or supports progressive policy, their dismissive reactions reveal their duplicitousness.
