Wilderness is not a tree farm!

The deceptively-named "Save Our Sequoias Act" would weaken the Wilderness Act and allow for logging, burning, and roads through giant sequoia groves in designated Wilderness areas in California.

And with the states of Montana, Idaho, and Wyoming continuing to wage a bloody war on wolves, not even wilderness areas are safe havens for wolves.

Wilderness Watch and allies have sued Interior and King Cove Corp for signing a land exchange agreement with the sole purpose of facilitating construction of a 13-mile road through the protected tundra and wetlands of the Izembek Wilderness.
