Friends like these? Who I met through fandom? Adults with jobs and families and kids and responsibilities? Who read and write and draw and paint and knit and give to charity because of a fandom? Who have a family and identity and sense of who we are because of fandom? DEFINITELY be "in a fandom."

It hasn't happened yet, so I can't say how effective it'll be, but when I wanted to do a group watch of Rhys Darby: Big In Japan, I just picked dates and times, made a hashtag, and sent it out onto the timeline. Response has been pretty good so far. P.S. join us October 11 and 12.
