In Cundinamarca, Colombia, the first Indigenous Forest Brigade is safeguarding Cerro Majuy. They prevent biodiversity loss & promote sustainable practices, lead emergency wildfire response, and train continuously in fire management, first aid & conservation.

Trent is a fire risk modeler in all aspects of bushfire management. His work covers a range of theoretical & applied aspects of bushfire behavior & management. The main focus of his research being management expenditure to reduce the risk of fire impacts on people, property & the environment.
