Things change. Change can be welcome, routine, exhilarating, terrifying, and everything in between. Notice how you feel during periods of change, and try sitting with those feelings. Calm and clarity can come with mindful attention to your inner experience.

It may sound simple, but the practice of Noticing is a key element of mindfulness & cultivating self-awareness. See if you can consistently notice your thoughts & feelings as they arise, and use Noticing to respond rather than react in the moment.
