A lively little squirrel found itself trapped inside a home with no way out, and help arrived right on time. Our team gently retrieved the squirrel, ensured it was perfectly healthy, and released it back into its natural habitat. Even small interventions can make a big difference for urban wildlife.

This barn owl was found grounded and suspected to have a flight impairment was brought to Wildlife SOS. With supportive care and nutrition the owl regained strength. Once the team confirmed it could fly confidently, the owl was released back into its natural habitat.

According to a recent report from Wildlife Institute of India, India’s wild elephant population has dropped to just 22,446 - an alarming decrease.
