Ahead of Germany’s election, with anti-immigrant sentiment rising, they released viral videos showing life without immigrants.

History proves that when a country starts erasing certain people, it doesn’t end well.

Another wee phone video of the otter feeding on the Water of Leith earlier this month. Very gallus, not deterred at all by the crowd watching from the nearby footpath @wolct.bsky.social @scotwildlife.bsky.social #otter #Edinburgh #wildlife

Otter fishing on the water of leith earlier this month. Absolutely unfazed by onlookers on the walkway only a few feet above. @wolct.bsky.social #Edinburgh #otter #wildlife

There’s still time to #SaveCoulLinks.

A year ago, we gave evidence about the irreparable damage a golf course would do to this incredible place.

Its fate is in the hands of Scottish Ministers. Nearly 18,000 of you have asked them to stand up for nature.

Male & female kingfisher plus young otter from the Water of Leith on Sunday. The female kingfisher followed the otter for a while catching small fish disturbed by it. The otter was v bold, hunting close to the bank (& several onlookers). @wolct.bsky.social @rspb.bsky.social #Edinburgh #wildlife

Two of Scotland's most colourful birds & coincidentally two of my favourites. Bearded tit male in the Tay reed beds & male kingfisher on the Water of Leith in Edinburgh. @wolct.bsky.social @rspbscotland.bsky.social @rspb.bsky.social #Birds #wildlife #Scotland #nature

On a bit of a roll with the colourful birds, after the bearded tits, close encounters with 2 maybe 3 kingfishers (and an otter) on the Water of Leith in Edinburgh today. My favourite shot so far, lots to go through (and delete!). @wolct.bsky.social @rspbscotland.bsky.social @rspb.bsky.social #Birds

Beautiful day at the Tay reedbeds. Almost got the shot of the bearded reedling/tit that I wanted...apart from a random piece of greenery sticking out and it being a female (still pretty) rather than the striking male beardie! @rspbscotland.bsky.social @rspb.bsky.social #Birds #wildlife #Scotland

This is a lie.

There are many criticisms you might sensibly and truthfully make of the Sentencing Council and the Sentencing Guidelines. I’ve been making them for years.

But this is an outright lie. Pure fabrication. A fraud on the public.

Small pod of dolphins with a youngster in tow passing Chanonry point. I spent several hours over a few days watching for them but although i saw them every trip they did not play ball and leap about in front of the camera! #dolphin #chanonry #Morayfirth

After a couple of slices of bacon the only thing to do is grab some zzz's... Privileged to have this wee female fox feel safe enough to sleep for a couple of hours in the garden. #Edinburgh #fox #wildlife

Wee fox reappeared after an absence of several days. Thankfully still gracing us with her presence as the sole survivor pf a gang of four furry visitors. #Edinburgh #fox#wildlife
