One of the most common reasons districts say they need more money is the need to hire specialists for students w/ disabilities. Since 2015, rates in WI schools have shot up nearly 15%. This strains credulity. Is it time to investigate why so many kids are being diagnosed today?

Under an important bill from Sen Jagler and Rep Wittke, DPI will no longer be able to unilaterally lower the bar on school accountability. Read more here to find out what the legislation would do:
