In my latest column in the #Woking News and Mail, I’ve put the NHS front and centre. I’ve recently called for the Government to tackle the £80 million repairs backlog at Ashford and St Peter’s, and I’m campaigning to lower transport costs for NHS staff.

One of the big issues that residents have been contacting me about this winter is the NHS, so I thought I would take this opportunity to share with you some of the work I’ve been doing on this in rece...

This week, I attended Age UK’s event in Parliament about corridor care. A shocking 9,793 patients waited 12 hours or more in corridors at A&Es in #Surrey in 2025. The @libdems.org.uk have a plan to tackle this by making 6,000 extra hospital beds available to end corridor care.

Trump is acting like an international gangster. His threats to Greenland have crossed a red line.

Enough appeasement: Britain needs its own trade bazooka to stand up to him.

It's time to stand firm with our European allies.

My campaign to help businesses in #Woking is gathering momentum. They are under serve pressure, yet the Government is set to make things even worse with a huge increase in Business Rates. The @libdems.org.uk and I pushing for another U-turn and help for the hospitality sector.

Trump is acting like an international gangster.

The Prime Minister has tried appeasing him for 12 months and has failed. It's time we finally stood up to him and united with our European allies to make him back down.

The deadly corridor crisis isn’t befitting of the doctors, nurses and staff who keep our NHS running.

Our plan to end the A&E crisis must be implemented now.

On Wednesday, I said his position was untenable. This is a vital and overdue step to restore public trust. His repeated denials over the use of AI in the risk assessment that led to the ban were proven to be wrong, undermining confidence in policing.

I'm proud to have tabled a parliamentary motion to celebrate the 175th anniversary of #Surrey Police and thank the officers and staff, past and present, who work every day to keep us safe for their bravery and dedication to public service.

We’re handing more money to big US pharma firms while our patients languish in corridors or wait 12+ hours in A&E.

That's why we've set out our plan to end the A&E crisis.

People were rightly furious with the Conservative Party for plunging the NHS into this crisis. Now they are fed up with Labour for letting things get worse on their watch.

We must tackle the crisis in A&E.

Delighted to be out campaigning with Attia Aslam and Zaf Rasab - the @libdems.org.uk’ candidates for #Woking North in May’s elections. Know they will make a great team to represent Horsell, Maybury, Sheerwater and Woodham on our new West #Surrey Council.

Proud to be alongside @eddavey.libdems.org.uk during #PMQs as he stood up for international law and against Donald Trump’s actions in Venezuela and threats in Greenland. I joined the @libdems.org.uk when we opposed the Iraq War - we shouldn’t support illegal war launched by the USA.
