I rather unreasonably expected half of the list to be by Hans Zimmer

Whilst the humans behind chatgpt seem quite upset about deepseek, the two models themselves are very reasonable about each other

Rearrange the order and it kind of works as a review for Nosferatu

Would be nice if they brought this aesthetic back for an EV.

True. A good excuse for another increase in profits!

This was tongue-in-cheek folks :)
Obviously the direct cost increase is 25% but that doesn't reflect the total cost of sales or the margin so it is likely to be significantly less in percentage terms of the price.

Yeah it's an interesting situation isn't it. Social Media grew because it was useful but is now mostly toxic. I guess it does mean there's always space for new things like this and other sites to establish or revive themselves

Most of meta is kind of shit these days anyway isnt it? Facebook is just crammed with ads and threads has never been much good imo. Bit torn on Instagram

The Argentinian one is very similar to some aboriginal art in the cathedral cave in Carnarvon Gorge, Queensland.
I guess the similarities shouldn't be surprising but it is fascinating.

Schmidt's friend-enemy concept as a way of framing disagreements does work for heightening engagement in both politics and social media. Sad but effective. I find recognising it as a tactic does help avoid getting sucked in most of the time.

What if -
1. Economic conditions are the main factor for swing voters
2. Campaigns have little to no effect on election results
3. Under capitalism governments have limited ability to control the economy
4. Every pundit ignores this and analyses campaigns, culture wars, foreign policy

One of the interesting things about this for me is it's not a new trend. There are patterns of incumbent vs challenger election cycles that suggest a couple of things -
1. Election campaigns are not decisive.
2. Governments cannot control the things that will get them re-elected.

The media is unlikely to provide good analysis because their business model is clickbait rather than accuracy.

Meanwhile, globally governments left and right have had large swings against them, often based on incumbent supporters not turning up.

Labour in the UK won a landslide on a low turnout.

Training wheels off after this second Dandelion Wine cover.

The novel has never been out of print and the many alternate covers, when viewed together, reflect the novel's point about life being idyllic, dangerous, scary, sad, and full of joy.

"I want to feel all there is to feel, he thought."

I once went for lunch with a colleague who asked for a ham and cheese sandwich and was told they had ham sandwiches and cheese sandwiches but not ham and cheese. To avoid embarrassment he claimed he wanted two sandwiches, one ham, one cheese. He then grumpily eat both. A very British problem.
