Look for me in places I should not be, handling business which isn’t mine, motivated by trouble I likely borrowed.
Do we know the ratio of housing starts needing an OP/ZBL amendment to those that don't?

I realized reading this article that I don't know how many just sail through as intended by council vs needing exceptions via amendment.

This is actually what Skynet really did. It just got lost in the lore because insecure politicians panicked and decided it would be preferable to nuke the planet than have their kink outted.

"You see, what we do is feed your money into an AI that creates and markets new AI companies. The investments in those companies, we pay out to you.

Now, you might be thinking, 'This sounds like a Ponzi scheme?'

And in rebuttal I reiterate, shut up and trust me, bro."

Good news, after we finish annihilating all the opportunities for entry level positions to skill up, the only agents and publishers left of any worth will follow a similar religion.

Wait... THAT's the "good news"?

Too many get hung up on the originality of an idea instead of its execution.

Rarely do bakers get flack for baking something as unoriginal as a loaf of bread. They get flack for doing it poorly.

No longer shall we be a lawless Mad Maxian dystopia ruled by roving escooter gangs.

This is a timely post as I was just looking at the E-scooter by-law (2020-174) posted on the city's website and it has an automatic repeal date of November 27, 2024.

Any guidance on whether it is being extended/updated (or was already)?

I still remember the feeling when first reading this one of, "This author has fearless range and makes bold choices." Cemented me as a diehard fan.

You've hit these kinds of notes with the universe jumping of the First Story.

Characters that have the same core, but the narrative freedom to be different as the particular universe demands.

When one of the only authors who has earned auto-buy status from me releases a book, I auto-buy. Congratulations on 10 years. It has been a treat watching you hone your craft over the years.

I remember as a kid into WWE, my father scoffed at why I would watch something where the outcome was semi-scripted.

I'll never for the look on his face when I retorted, "And when we went to see The Mask of Zorro, did you expect Zorro to lose?"

A potential toehold: one of Adam Verner's credits is narrating an official audiobook adaptation of Finding Nemo.

Multiversal shenanigans do the work from there: In a secluded pocket dimension floating in the ether, a voice joins two unlikely universes together by speaking them both into existence.

Risqué sentence to convey Protagonist is in trouble.

Three sentences of the people/events that got them there.

Three sentences alluding to obstacles to overcome.

Final sentence that is clearly a question ending in a period.

Fill with complete lies. Call them metaphors if challenged.

Your better! What good are friends who refuse to whisper memento mori when you really need it.

I am flattered guys, but none of you need to auto-follow me if I don't know you off-platform. In fact, it's a little uncomfortable scanning over the followers list and seeing so many names I do not recognize.

Conversely, if I know you off-platform, follows are mandatory. Thems the rules.
May 4, 2023 at 10:22 PM
In fairness, you were followed earlier. But because I'm so selective and you and Lithros have such prolific followings, my TL shifted to only tpot content. So I regrettably had to temporarily unfollow both of you until I figured out how to better manage the massive influence you had on the algo.

A combination of oversight and a very high bar for who garners a follow. Been rectified with the bestowing of my 20th twitter follow.

Come on, man. I've had this flex in the wings for nearly two decades. Don't ruin it for me.
I'm calling it right now, Bluesky is going to develop a culture where people are flexing domain names.

Like oh shit this mf got a 3 letter site. Or people gonna have the most ridiculous names. Idk it's gonna be wild.

I've never wanted nick.com so bad in my life... fuckin nickelodeon

Because I am not a monster.

And, more to the point, my aversion to footwear is more about eliminating a mild sensory distraction.

Today I was editing a document where the author created two "columns" by manually tabbing the dividing space on each line.

Yes, you read correctly. None of the information could be efficiently manipulated, because each line contained fragements of both columns separated by tabs.

Unless there's a client meeting, I'm usually in socks. Or flip-flops.
April 27, 2023 at 1:33 AM
I propose "during" and/or "cause" as a future response.

- Humans create AI.

- AI assists humans in genetically altering their noses.

- Oh God! The smell! The horrible smell!

- All part of the AI's plan.
