i think its the worst for one an introductory game, the padding of the start makes someone who isnt sure about the gameplay of this game take over an hour to even experience how it plays, the lack of coop also removes the chance of a beginner and expert sort of thing, which 3 deluxe does have

pushed myself to play more of pikmin 4.

i have to say the game isnt terrible. it just has a very slogging first 6 hours. Tho ofc the game still isnt great, so many aspects of it just make it not that good, the auto locks, the ost, the bland characters, no coop, the, fucking, dog, and others
