👋 Hey, I’m Windy City Print Shop, bi nerd and indie artist creating bold, honest, & often subversive tees.

I live at the intersection of protest, pop, culture, & poetry. Feminist rage, collage-style resistance, and fan art 4 the gloriously weird.

And BTW, Stephen King himself wore my shirt in a reading of his newest novel, “Never Flinch” on YouTube, for which I will be forever grateful for and humbled by. Link here:

A white tee shirt from Windy City Print Shop’s Etsy store featuring a graphic that looks like an embroidery hoop with the words “all workers deserve a living wage” embroidered on the fabric in the frame. A white tee shirt from Windy City Print Shop’s Etsy store featuring a graphic based on Stephen King’s Dark Tower series. The image is of a furry creature named Oy, called a billybumbler, surrounded by a scroll reading “World’s greatest billybumbler.” A white tee shirt from Windy City Print Shop’s Etsy store featuring a colorful slogan in a blocky font reading “Equal rights for others doesn’t mean fewer rights for you. It’s not pie.” The text is framed by small, hand-drawn pie slices. A white hooded sweatshirt from Windy City Print Shop’s Etsy store featuring a wreath of flowers surrounding a hand-drawn image of the burning A-frame structure featured in Ari Aster’s movie “Midsommar” and the text “Halsingland, Sweden.”

ICE was by my kid’s school yesterday. No parent wants to wonder if their kids are going to make it home from school or be disappeared. Luckily, my kid made it home safely. This administration is digging their own grave.

I can’t say enough good things about our beautiful lakefront!

There’s a super-cool headless horseman that’s part of the display too, but sadly, it was cut off for this photo.

Here’s part of the super spooky “war zone.”

I don’t know if it’s the spookiest, but it’s certainly one of the most beautiful! 😍

The Ritual!! That child of Loki is still one of my all-time favorite horror movie monsters.

For real! Find joy whenever and wherever you can. Looking for the good is a great antidote to doomscrolling.

Are people under 18 allowed? My teens would like to come and help.
windycityprintshop.bsky.social
And thank you. I’m very proud of my kiddos and how they care for others.
windycityprintshop.bsky.social
All I can say is keep hugging your babies, calling your reps, and make a plan to come out and protest for No Kings on the 18th!

Thankfully my kid is now safe at home.

Yeah. I just *love* having to have conversations like this with my kid now.

Misogyny much? Based on the unprofessional behavior of the host, I won’t be turning to News Nation to stay informed, that’s for sure.
