It’s definitely missing something. As @bigbeatlessortout.bsky.social have pointed out, the bass seems to have been turned down which hasn’t helped matters. And, yes, they seem to have made the video worse, not better!

I’m glad we got the 2025 version of Free As A Bird for the improved Lennon vocals, but I’m convinced a better mix could have been achieved. I’d definitely have bumped up the prominence of the McCartney ghost vocal to support the (now) more obviously hesitant Lennon delivery.
