Maxine balloons, creaks like parade float. Kaykay rustles, candies rattle in her piñata form. Both are hung by strings, more objects than girls. Crowd roars for “balloon juice” & candy. Omiline, drunk & heavier, gulps wine, her eyes glint as her friend is near.

Maxine bloats, skin pink and rubbery, bobbing like a balloon. Kaykay, sneezing from marigold, swells heavy, skin flashing a crackling piñata pattern. Omiline, in a shimmering gown, watches glee as the crowd stares. Strange strings descend, ready to snatch.
