🚨NEWS: I've obtained a list of the Medicaid cuts in the Republican reconciliation package.
The big one is that they're going to raise premiums and co-pays on beneficiaries at or above the federal poverty line ($15,650 for single people, $21,150 for a couple).
That's what helps pay for the tax cuts.
Medicaid Cuts in Republican Bill Would Charge Poor People More for Coverage
The cost-sharing requirements on beneficiaries above the federal poverty line is the most notable item in a menu of Medicaid cuts seen by the Prospect.

Dangerous stunts by the Trump Administration to arrest judges and threaten arrest of our governor are an attempt to distract and divide us.

They want to stir up chaos and deflect accountability by scapegoating others in hopes we won’t notice as they starve our communities.

This incident, a sitting judge arrested by the FBI, cannot be swept under the rug. Kash Patel has already tried by deleting his glowing tweet about the arrest.

Broadly convinced that WFP is going to emerge as a full fledged powerhouse of a regional party if it plays its cards right — hopefully organizers at events like this one also are handing out WFP literature

TLDR: All of Wisconsin's MAGA House Representatives voted for a budget resolution that guts Medicaid funding in order to cover the costs of yet another tax break for the wealthiest 1%.

Our health should come first- not enriching the pockets of their billionaire donors.

Who is coming out to the #HandsOff rallies tomorrow?

right!
We the people... NOT we the billionaires!

Join us all across Wisconsin!
1/ The number of protests planned for tomorrow is enormous. Given what Trump has done to the economy, and everyone's collective ability to pay for household expenses/retirement I'd expect them to be huge. Find out more at handsoff2025.com

Important thread!
MAGA’s grip isn't a majority rule—it’s a flaw in the system, but it doesn’t have to be this way (🐻 with me. This is an important 🧵)
