This snooty idea that Brexit was just about Farage & immigrants & those who voted for it just thick & gullible remains a bitter reminder to struggling people desperate for change (anything after years of austerity) that they count for nothing. The blaming carping liberal left widened the divide.

In 2024, the gap between the region with the highest proportion of top grades and the lowest was 8.8pp (London vs East Midlands).
