The Seattle #Mariners will play for the American League Championship. I don’t believe it!

The Phoenix crowd was booing Cathy Engelbert mercilessly as she tried to speak during the Aces' post-game coronation.

You aren’t a true sports commissioner unless the crowd is booing the shit out of you, haha. #WNBA

The Las Vegas Aces have won their 3rd #WNBA Championship as they sweep the Phoenix Mercury 4-0. They win this game 97-86. A'ja Wilson led the way with 31 points and 17-19 FT. Jewell Loyd wins her 3rd title as well. It's Las Vegas's 3rd title in 4 years (2022, 2023, 2025).

Nate should have used his reset on that last possession so the Mercury could have gone two-for-one. A big coaching mistake in my eyes. #WNBA

It might help if he played with a helmet on.

I am hopeful the Phoenix Mercury can win tonight, just so we actually might get a competitive #WNBAFinals. It felt like it in real time and even more so now. The Phoenix Mercury blew a huge opportunity by losing Game 1, especially with Las Vegas coming off a grueling Game 5 OT win over Indiana.

FINAL: The Las Vegas Aces go up 2-0 as they defeat the Phoenix Mercury 91-78 in a game that wasn't that close. A'ja Wilson and Jackie Young combined for 60 points (2nd most by a duo in #WNBAFinals history). Wilson had 28 points and 14 rebounds, Young with 32 points - 21 in the 3rd quarter. #WNBA

Oh, it’s a tremendous amount of work! Passion and adrenaline help!

FINAL: The Las Vegas Aces defeat the Phoenix Mercury 89-86. A'ja Wilson had 21 points & 10 rebounds, but it was really Dana Evans (21 points) and Jewell Loyd (18 points), both off the bench, that led Las Vegas to the Game 1 victory. #WNBA

It doesn’t actually look like her elbow hit Smith’s face or am I just not seeing it correct? #WNBA

#WNBAFinals the Phoenix Mercury lead the Las Vegas Aces 50-45 at the midway point. Kahleah Copper leads all scorers with 19 points. Alyssa Thomas has 10 points and 6 assists. The Aces' bench has outscored the Mercury's reserves 25-8 as Jewell Loyd (13 points) and Dana Evans (10 points) lead the way.

Are people still hyped for the #WNBA Finals between the Las Vegas Aces and the Phoenix Mercury? Or are they more interested in the Phee/Engelbert dialogue?
wnbastormchasers.bsky.social
It’ll be the Las Vegas Aces versus the Phoenix Mercury in the #WNBA Finals. What a hell of a series by the Indiana Fever who took Las Vegas to OT in Game 5 despite numerous injuries.
wnbastormchasers.bsky.social
No matter what happens, a former Seattle Storm great will win the #WNBA Championship this year. Sami Whitcomb with the Phoenix Mercury, Jewell Loyd with the Las Vegas Aces, or Natasha Howard with the Indiana Fever.
wnbastormchasers.bsky.social
From the official Dallas Wings’ account. That makes 5 openings now in the #WNBA between Toronto, Portland, Seattle, New York, and now Dallas.
The Dallas Wings have fired Chris Koclanes.

Dominique Malonga made the #WNBA All-Rookie team! Her strong second-half performance likely swung votes her way. She became the youngest player in WNBA History to have multiple 20/10 games.
WNBA All-Rookie Team: Paige Bueckers, Sonia Citron, Kiki Iriafen, Dominique Malonga, and Janelle Salaün.
wnbastormchasers.bsky.social
It was an honorable performance by the Minnesota Lynx, especially Kayla McBride, who scored a playoff career-high 31 points. In the end, the Phoenix Mercury will advance to the #WNBA Finals with an 86-81 victory and 3-1 series win. Alyssa Thomas ends with 23 points and 10 assists.

Becky Hammon’s assistant messed up big time. They told her she had a timeout when she didn’t. It’s a Technical Foul and Las Vegas loses possession of the ball. The Indiana Fever are going to win this game and force a winner-take-all Game 5 back in Las Vegas. #WNBA
wnbastormchasers.bsky.social
Napheesa Collier will not play in Game 4 after sustaining an injury during a collision with Alyssa Thomas in the final minute of Game 3. Minnesota Coach Cheryl Reeve has been suspended from the game as well. The Lynx must win tomorrow to extend their season. #WNBA
wnbastormchasers.bsky.social
The Aces and the Phoenix Mercury are now both one win away from the WNBA Finals. Las Vegas beat Indiana 84-72 and Phoenix defeated Minnesota 84-76. Alyssa Thomas collided with Napheesa Collier in the final minute and the fear is that Phee has a fracture. #WNBA

Cheryl Reeve RIPPED the refs as expected:

"This is the look that our league wants for some reason. For the leadership to deem those 3 people, semifinals playoff worthy is fucking malpractice"
