I remember reading during the first outbreak that if someone had previously gotten a smallpox vaccine (from back when smallpox was still floating around), they were likely to have a much less severe case of monkeypox. Apparently, the vaccine can still have benefits, even after decades.

If I think someone is really attractive, my mind immediately tells me "they probably will not be into me." So I don't pursue them unless they approach me.

Even if we seem to hit it off, a lot of them end up eventually ghosting me. Which just reinforces, to me, that I shouldn't take chances.
