Last Phase in my swtich to #Bazzite. Ditching the Lian Li UniFans for Phanteks D30s. I already moved from a be quiet! Pure Base 500DX to a Phanteks NV5 Mk II, and I’ve got a 7900 XTX inbound to replace my 4070 Ti.

Had some free time last night so I attempted to set up my dual-boot Bazzite (Nvidia/KDE) twice. Both attempts failed with fatal ostree errors during installation.

(1) Linux UPDATE

Arkham Asylum, Portal 1/2, Fallout 1/2, and Warcraft 1/2? Flawless out of the box.

The only hiccup was the original Diablo (Blank Menus). It's a bug with the old code, but downloading the native Linux port fixed it easy.

UPDATE: Install was shockingly easy. Pop!_OS is neat, but Heroic Launcher? That’s the real MVP. One launcher to replace 3? Yes please!

Managed to finish #OutridersWorldslayer and was actually pleasantly surprised. It was super fun and it ended the game on a much stronger high note than the base game. I'm playing thru the core end game loop now and I just learned that PCF has canceled the sequel.

Took my son to Legoland for his birthday this weekend. First time, total blast. Came home with three bags of goodies and a very happy kid.

Absolutely agree. Respectful pushback is fair game, but people get way too wrapped up in reviews like they’re gospel. At the end of the day, it’s just one person’s opinion about art. And art is subjective. Engage, don’t worship. Or harass.

I personally think it's reasonable to question a review from a major gaming publication as long as you’re being respectful and honest. It’s no different from challenging a news outlet.

Genuine questions help to build trust and blind agreement just to protect feelings doesn’t serve anyone.
