Managed to finish #OutridersWorldslayer and was actually pleasantly surprised. It was super fun and it ended the game on a much stronger high note than the base game. I'm playing thru the core end game loop now and I just learned that PCF has canceled the sequel.

Took my son to Legoland for his birthday this weekend. First time, total blast. Came home with three bags of goodies and a very happy kid.

Only downside? Wife and MIL got the bed. I got the trundle. The lowest level of hell is reserved for the trundle inventor.

Absolutely agree. Respectful pushback is fair game, but people get way too wrapped up in reviews like they’re gospel. At the end of the day, it’s just one person’s opinion about art. And art is subjective. Engage, don’t worship. Or harass.

I personally think it's reasonable to question a review from a major gaming publication as long as you’re being respectful and honest. It’s no different from challenging a news outlet.

Genuine questions help to build trust and blind agreement just to protect feelings doesn’t serve anyone.

The Julie Mao plotline seems to be a framing device to show us life in the Belt, but also may go deeper

The Canterbury crew has been attacked. They believe a Martian ship with stealth tech was involved.

(2) Gravity is a major physiological limiter. Belters are physically affected when exposed to Earth-like gravity—used as a form of torture.

Ceres is a key Belter hub. Belters speak a unique dialect and wear tattoos.

The OPA is a Belter faction painted as terrorists but may have more nuance.

(1) Watched the first 3 episodes of the Expanse last night. Here is what I'm getting so far:

Humanity has colonized the solar system. Earth, Mars, and the Belt are the three main factions.

Earth and Mars are in a Cold War situation.
