I would love these novellas. Short, concise and to the point. They had adventure for sure. The most important element was they are Trek.

Viruses and the system might try to take over the other systems that are in use with controlling the ship. Which just happened in this case. They should have tried it out on a smaller system before buying.

Well the main point of their culture is acquiring wealth. When their avarice was threatened they would have dealt Milia with harshness. If he had succeeded the Ferengi would be peace loving or even worse.

Just thinking of this story makes me chuckle. Just the idea of a Ferengi's take on Landru due to having the AI of Landru downloaded into the mainframe of the Ferengi ship.

That is an understandable hypothesis. They could not go out traveling or anything else. I can't even imagine being on a planet that has sufferable rain for days on end. So they allowed wealth to rain on them as well.

I liked the idea that he is Grand Nagus. He is more open in my opinion and has experience of different cultures that wil make him a well-rounded leader.

It seemed casual in my opinion. You have to instill trust in your crew. There has to be some command decorum so that a leader can lead without compromising their command.

Well for one it is a shallow society due to the fact that is the only thing that they are acquiring in their lives. Does riches really define a society? I wouldn't think so. I would like to delve more into this society.

Yes!! I loved this scene with Scotty. I can't recall my favorite scene but I love this saying: "The haggis is in the fire for sure."

I am glad on of the da Vinci crew agreed with Nog. There is always a way when you put your mind to it. Nog is right up there with Scotty, but in his own way. I think O'Brien may have inspired Nog too.

I love this part. Nog got the acceptance from the Da Vinci crew as one of their own. Yes, I do think that engineers are made from some other material than the common folk.

All I know that this is very bad. If a warring race got their hands on it it would change the dynamic of the galaxy. Yes, this is a security problem for the Federation.

Well for one when they cause the problem gives a big clue to how they thing and their code of ethics. They may fix it but then I think I rather fix the problem myself instead of trusting those that caused it.

They needed to go back to what Starfleet stood for. And that is the "We" mentality. I mean we as in team. You bounce ideas of each other to get the best idea on how to work out the situation.
