A new analysis of 45,000 assistant professors reveals wide pay gaps in US academic medicine. Women earned 19% less than men, with the largest gap among URiM women.

Women in cardiovascular imaging in the US increased by 35% from 2013–2022.

While gender gaps remain, this progress is promising. Diverse perspectives in imaging strengthen leadership and improve patient care.

A new study shows that while ischemic heart disease mortality has declined across Europe, progress is slower for women. In many countries, women still face higher mortality largely due to modifiable risk factors.
