#OnOurBookshelf , our latest #Substack publication, is recommending Fairly Equal: Lawyering the Feminist Revolution, by #LindaSilverDranoff.

A fascinating story of #feministrevolution, inspirational #collaboration and #leadership.

Happy reading!

Not my three favourite, but the unjustly ignored:

- May Agnes Fleming, the first Canadian novelist to make a living through her writing;
- Joanna E. Wood, whose The Untempered Wind (1894) is the only novel to make me weep;
- Jan Hilliard, whose Miranda (1960) is the best novel I read last year.
Thanks for sharing! Will check these out.
This month's #VoicesAndStories will be exploring #WomenStorytellers ! Every month we bring to light three women from #Canadianhistory – distant and recent – and we celebrate their achievements. Who are some of your favourite #feministauthors ?
