Yeah on his Twitter account he called himself Troy Nam, at least for a while... I guess it's close to Choi Nam? Apparently a couple of folks ( maybe @sogoodreviews.bsky.social ) approached him for an interview and he was not interested at all. It's a shame, so many stories to tell!

I watched like, 3 series of Orphan Black and thought it was amazing, but then somehow fell off between series and never went back. Definitely worth checking out an episode or two to see if it jives for you.

#NowWatching Hellraiser: Revelations (2011 Victor Garcia) After checking out Hellworld earlier (and finding it to be an unexpected blast) here I am with what is usually considered the worst in the series, with a Pinhead that people seem to mostly just laugh at.

That's the definite highlight. There are other things that bother me, the finale is weak, I think Aaron Eckhart is kind of a boring actor. Ledger is giving it 200% and is justly the thing that people remember of the film, but I don't think the film itself is really all that good.

I liked Begins but I really couldn't get along with The Dark Knight. Gotham suddenly looked like Chicago or something, completely abandoning the run down gothic vibe. Batman seemed to take such a backseat to Ledger's Joker. It just has never worked for me, even on subsequent rewatches.

Totally agree with Nolan. I haven seen anything he's done since Dark Knight Rises. I love Memento, Insomnia, The Prestige, but his Batman films and Inception really left me cold.

Yeah mine was either that or the True Grit remake, whichever was more recent. I enjoyed both those movies, but I dunno, anything I see of anything they've put out since has not left me going 'yes I must see this'
