I love how theses ‘Story Stones’ have ignited such interest in storytelling with many children this week.

Through lots of natural reading opportunities the children have become familiar with the plot of our story of the moment “Shark in the Park”. We areable to sort the story into the correct sequence using our knowledge and understanding of story as well as visuals and props to support our play.

Exploring leaves has been an interest of most children. Many returning to the nursery with their Woodland findings (natural treasures) which has evolved & provoked sorting , matching, categorising along with exploring colour with paint & creating their own representation of leaves. 🍁 🌿🍃🍂
