Brilliant.
John Rustad is Schroedinger's leader at the moment. He both is, and is not still leading the BC Conservative Party.

I am not a lawyer, but it sure seems like the BC Conservatives are trying to get rid of Rustad by using a clause in their constitution meant for a situation where the leader is, you know, in a coma or something

Whole lot of Conservative MLA's apparently not on side with this, and apparently it's not quite clear what "professionally incapacitated" here means.

Their bylaws reference "incapacitation:, but in legal terms, that's generally a specific thing.

I'm sure this is going to get even more spicy.

Mathew Rhys is a delight. A Netflix series based on the Power Broker would be super cool.

I also need to finish the Americans…

Why? Why do we do this to ourselves? This just feels like a waste of everybody's time. Why on earth do we think we need neighbours to weigh in on this?! Just build it already. www.therecord.com/news/waterlo...

Got thinking of colloquialisms today that I use frequently, and I think my favourite (which is a tad old-timey) is "Oh, they're a good egg".

Anybody got their own favourites?

Substitute out “gender affirming care” with cancer care.

Or congenital organ defect repair.

Or mental health care.

This isn’t about providing fully informed consequence free care, because that simply doesn’t exist.

It’s about believing trans kids shouldn’t exist.

The joy of having a Google Alert set up my name is occasionally I get updates regarding my Nelson City Council name twin Jesse Woodward—who funny enough, ran the year I had looked at running for council in Nanaimo.

Instead, I ended up taking the job I had today which has been incredibly rewarding.
