My cat has a ritual when laying next to me on the bed. He will jump up and meow until I pet him. Then he will start kneading his blanket into shape, and if you even think about trying to interact with him before he's done, he will meow with such sass that I know it is meant as an expletive.

My buddy @traviswanteat.bsky.social just released his newest book, Carapace! And holy shit folks it is one of the creepiest, freakiest body horror novels I've read in years. It packs more weirdness into its short length than many longer books could dream of. Highly, highly recommend.
