Always serious, always professional. This time we talk about uniforms and why they always end up making villains look cooler. In our game this is not the case, but anyway, we pulled a lot of work in how the various orders, religions, and organizations go around pimping themselves.
Often when we are reading about our adventure or settings, we end up focusing always on the drama and the action of the adventure. But it's nice that some games (like ours, cough cough) let you play your ordinary life like it's a grand adventure. art by @arm92.bsky.social
Funny enough, while testing the game with all the beta players, we mostly ended up with young characters... that we have always used to play matchmaking with. All of us in the group are in some shape or form a yenta, be it for dramatic purpose or for the telenovela stile ones.
Hello there! Today we talk about a topic dear to me. Female armor and fantasy clothing. While working on the game, we have tried to keep the clothes and armor as realistic as possible... Having said that, it doesn't mean that we have completely closed an eye to the classic scantily clad rogue. 😉😉😉
Talking about our game, we obviously ended up taking some inspirations. One of these was for the order of the knights of dawn we ended up getting inspired by... the old western sheriffs. With guts and an iron fist they walk the land facing all the evil they encounter fighting for the weak.
Sometimes when goofing around, you end up getting obsessed with a character you thought to be mostly a comic relief. Did it ever happen to you? Or maybe it could have been the contrary. Like when you start With this dark and broody character that becomes a sweetie pie or the group mum.
When searching for a pic to use for a character, do you sometimes stumble upon some beautifully scarred dudes or girls? Does someone you know have a strong opinion on what really counts as a disfigurement? We sometimes joke around, calling these cool ones "the Garnier zombies."
In every city of the Kaltrich it is possible to find some dark alley, slimy streets or dangerous people, but even in the horrible present that the characters explore there's always the chance to find something small, warm and precious... hoping that the bright colours are not a warning.
Today, talking about an episode or two of the filler of an anime that we like, we came up with a possible new reputation to put in the game. Was there ever an idea that came to your mind while chatting? Maybe while listening to a friend talk about a hobby or vice versa?
When you end up shifting so many dates, meetings and calls that you end up still making the right call to the right man and still go to the appointment. Sometimes my luck astonish me. Anyway, good news, we are almost at the end of the production for the quick-start and some trinkets.

Usually while playing a game you allways end up putting various request and limitations on what the story will entail. Is there something that you would like to try such as trying to see how much "evil" you can be? Was there a time when you asked yourself "should i tone myself down a little bit?"

Hello! We are preparing for new and exciting adventures... AKA new comics fairs. There's a lot to do, to write, to print, and to review. Also, we are trying a new posting table so you will get to know more about the lore and the backstage stuff.
We have finally finished our first comics fair. We didn't have a proper stand, but it was still fun bringing the demo at the tables that were offered. Next time I hope that I can work more on it and bring all the fun stuff that I wanted, like the mega poster. #funfest #indierpg #rpg #gdr

In the demo we put a pretty generic villain, but it's always thrilling seeing how all the people that picked up our game to GM it, always make various kinds of morally gray villains. Be it because they are relatable, struggles or other factors. But sometimes simple is best. #indierpg #rpg #fantasy
Talking about our Demo, I never posted any of the NPCs. This tanned and healthy individual is one of the characters that the players will encounter. There are various ways to interact with him, and it's fun seeing the various reactions that the players have when they discover one of its secrets.
In these weeks, I've been going in and out of various comics shop to talk about our game and game mastering the demo for the clients. It's quite the satisfaction seeing people so interested in the game that we worked so hard for. #fantasy #rpg #indierpg
