A 'loveliness' of #ladybirds & #larvae on a #chrysanthemum preparing to go into a type of #hibernate in a sheltered location for winter. This is great to see for gardeners especially as adults & larvae are fierce predators of aphids.

The fine looking #trawler Ambitious II at #HowthHarbour in north County Dublin AKA Fingal. It was stuck aground recently while trying to exit the dock two hours after low water. Lack of #dredging was the possible reason which is the case in many Irish ports causing concern in the fishing community.

I've allowed the bramble (rubus fructicosus) aka blackberry grow for while considering it has given us such beautiful dark pink flowers. The Royal Horticultural Society (RHS" says "Brambles are fantastic for wildlife"

Here is a 1960 #MasseyFerguson 35 still in use by the forth generation of farmers in Co. Meath. It was actually bought in Holland by the Dutch grandfather of the current users in Ireland.

6 cylinder Mercedes Benz 220S sedan was originally exported from Germany in 1959 to Australia. It was then imported into Ireland in 2020. It was at the Shamrock Car & Machinery Club show in May.
