The pandemic (and the creepiness of Dave Lagana) totally killed them. And I covered that show all through the pandemic. It sucked so bad. Tyrus was my last straw and I was reassigned to a much better Impact and now AEW Collision, which is just the perfect fit for me haha.

It's kinda like starting Star Wars with the modern trilogy. You can do it and understand most of the story, but a lot of the references might be lost on you as the whole series is not really stand alone like Persona, for example

And I was so happy I did. Every game builds towards the next and what happened before with each game adding a new layer of complexity to the world and explaining more and more about what is going on. Going in with zero knowledge at Sky would be the best way to enjoy it. But others are okay!

It is worth it. It will take time, for sure. Took me a few years to do it all. But I do not regret it. There are different jumping on points if you don't want to play them all, with Cold Steel being the most popular jumping on point, but I actually went back to Sky on PC after beating Cold Steel 1&2
